On March 15, 2024 at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Dr. Narong Aphikulvanich, the Secretary-General together with Mr. Lertchai Lertvut, the Deputy Secretary-General, of the Food and Drug Administration welcomed H.E. Ms. Cecilia Galarreta, Ambassador of Peru to the Kingdom of Thailand and the delegation in paying the courtesy call to strengthen the relationship, as well as to discuss and exchange information on the safety of health-related products. The discussion has contributed a good opportunity for fostering an understanding on the guidelines and regulations on the registration of the health-related products between the two organizations, including the exchange of ideas on problems and obstacles, the provision of import-export opportunities of the health-related products between the Republic of Peru and Thailand. Moreover, this would standardize the quality of the products and ensure their safety that are in line with the concerned regulations, and without creating the trade barriers and at the same time promoting the export of health-related products of the Republic of Peru and Thailand in the future.
