Rada Organic Farm's durian soap began with extracting compounds from the blossoms and young fruit of the 'Mon Phra Ruang' durian using solvent extraction. The extract was then analyzed for key components, such as phenolic compounds, which act as antioxidants, using the DPPH (2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl) assay. The results showed a relatively high level of phenolics expressed as GAE (gallic acid equivalents). This became the starting point for applying durian extract in cosmetic products, including natural soap and durian shower gel.
