The Pen Suk Organic Rice Group began with farmers in Nago Subdistrict, Kalasin Province, joining together to cultivate and sell high quality organic rice. They later expanded into value added processing under the concept of 'adding value, reducing waste,' using local raw materials to create stable income for the community. One of their developed products is the 'Hang Mee' crispy rice snack, made by transforming broken rice into a light, crunchy treat with a fragrant blend of milk and almond. The product is baked rather than fried to meet the needs of health conscious consumers, while showcasing the unique character of organic rice products from the local area.
