Fried Sun-Dried Tilapia originates from Suksomboon Village in Ubon Ratchathani Province. This village is a fertile area situated along the Mun River, where most community members and enterprise members engage in fish cage farming as a supplementary occupation.
The community enterprise utilizes locally sourced tilapia as their raw material, processing only the fish meat into sun-dried tilapia to add value, a product highly desired by consumers. To further enhance convenience and offer more choices, they developed Fried Sun-Dried Tilapia. This strategic development has successfully opened up diverse sales channels for the product.
