On February 6, 2023 , Dr. Paisarn Dunkum, Secretary-General of the Food and Drug Administration, Dr. Withid Sariddeechaikool, Deputy Secretary-General and executives from Thai FDA welcomed H.E. Ms. Orna Sagiv, Israel Ambassador and delegates from the Israel Embassy on the occasion of discussion for further cooperationin the development of novel food industries, including novel Ingredients and cultivated meat.

Dr. Paisarn Dunkum, Secretary-General of the Food and Drug Administration, said that according to the global trend of demand for food and the change in food industry, this meeting is a good opportunity for Thailand to seek cooperation to develop novel food industries with Israel, which is a leading country in research and development, technology, and innovation in food products.


While H.E. Ms. Orna Sagiv introduced the Israel Embassy in Thailand, including the Economic and Trade Mission, Embassy of Israel in Thailand, which is responsible for supporting trade and promoting business activities of Israel companies. Moreover, information has also been presented for the development of novelfood industry policies in Thailand
