
The Thai Food and Drug Administration (Thai FDA) and MCOT Public Company Limited have signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to advance systematic and continuous communication on health products for a period of three years. The collaboration aims to develop modern, creative learning media and jointly promote public communication activities that empower consumers to differentiate and safely access health products.
On 7 November 2025, at MCOT Public Company Limited, Ms. Supattra Boonserm, Secretary-General of the Thai FDA, and Mr. Sommai Suwanwong, Acting President and Executive Vice President of Marketing and Sales, signed the MOA to formalize the partnership.
The Secretary-General of the Thai FDA stated that this important collaboration focuses on public communication and strengthening health product literacy, with the shared goal of enhancing the capacity of both organizations to disseminate accurate health product information to the public.
Key areas of cooperation under the MOA include:
- Joint development of content and communication formats to promote health product literacy;
- Co-development of training programs related to public communication and health product literacy;
- Mutual support in providing expert speakers from each organization for the production and development of creative, modern learning media;
- Dissemination of health product knowledge through various media channels.
In addition, MCOT Public Company Limited will support and promote public communication activities across its media platforms to increase the effectiveness of outreach efforts. The collaboration also encompasses joint development of human resources to align with current operational needs.
