Taosor Cake Salt Filled with Preserved Egg
Tuangrat
Tuangrat Takuapa
The salted egg filled taosor is a traditional local pastry influenced by Hokkien Chinese culture in Phangnga. Similar to a mini mooncake, it features a crisp, layered crust with a sweet savory mung bean filling. "Tuangrat Takuapa," a long established bakery dating back to 1907, continues to preserve the original double layer dough technique and bakes fresh daily. The result is a pastry that is crisp on the outside, soft inside, fragrant, and delicately crumbly made without preservatives.
