Over 50 years ago, Kirikhet Subdistrict in Yala Province thrived on coffee cultivation. However, a rubber boom saw farmers switch to lucrative rubber trees.

When rubber prices plummeted, leaving farmers struggling, Mr. Suporn Duangdee of Southern Agriculture Products Limited Partnership initiated a solution. He encouraged farmers to return to coffee, replacing their rubber trees. This renewed push for coffee cultivation in Kirikhet Subdistrict ultimately led to the creation of Kirikhet Signature Yala Coffee.
