The Food and Drug Administration (Thai FDA) has announced the successful conclusion of Thai FDA WELLNEXT 2026, held under the theme “From Thai Innovation to Global Trust.” Over three days, it provided a platform connecting wellness knowledge, health product innovation, and international cooperation. It also supported Thailand’s ambition to become a hub for wellness and healthy longevity, underpinned by science and a trusted regulatory system.

The Food and Drug Administration (Thai FDA) reported the outcomes of the Thai FDA International Health, Wellness and Longevity Innovation Forum 2026 (Thai FDA WELLNEXT 2026), held on 23–25 October 2026 at Paragon Hall, Siam Paragon. The event aimed to enhance knowledge and awareness of wellness and preventive healthcare, promote health product innovation, create economic opportunities and domestic and international cooperation networks, and strengthen confidence in Thailand’s health product regulatory system.

Innovation and economic opportunities: The event showcased 123 health products, technologies, and innovations, with participation from 165 organizations and businesses. It also featured 150 business-matching and consultation sessions and attracted 65 applicants for pitching activities, creating opportunities to connect research, entrepreneurs, and product development with the market.

International cooperation and confidence: A total of 49 experts from 28 organizations shared knowledge and experience. The academic forum highlighted pathways toward a high-value health economy in Thailand through preventive healthcare, science-based innovation, and appropriate regulation, alongside cooperation to support the international application of Thai innovations.

In addition, preliminary survey findings from the Six Pillars of Lifestyle Medicine activity, identified adequate sleep, stress management, and healthy eating as the areas people most wanted to improve. These findings will help inform future wellness promotion activities that better reflect public needs.

The Thai FDA plans to build on the event’s achievements and findings in three priority areas: promoting preventive healthcare throughout the life course; supporting the health innovation ecosystem through cross-sector collaboration; and developing a regulatory system that accommodates innovation in line with international standards while safeguarding consumers.

Thai FDA WELLNEXT 2026 therefore served not only as a platform for sharing wellness knowledge and health innovations, but also as a bridge connecting the public, researchers, entrepreneurs, and cooperation networks to shape Thailand’s health future transforming the country’s innovation potential into global trust, in keeping with the theme “From Thai Innovation to Global Trust.”
