Importation for Sale
The importation of each product regulated by FDA has the following steps;
- Imported cosmetics for sale

3 | File an import declaration with the Thai Customs |
4 | Contact Food and Drug Checkpoint where the importation takes place to inspect the goods and check the documents as follows: – Import declaration/notification for the collection of international parcel – Invoice or bill of lading/airway bill – LPI – Power of attorney for the procedures at Food and Drug Checkpoint – Sample of imported cosmetic for official inspection at Food and Drug Checkpoint |
In the case of a cosmetic raw material that is specifically cosmetic grade, documents must be submitted at Food and Drug Checkpoint, consisting of:
- Application Form for Cosmetic Importation (F-I10-1)
- Letter explaining the purpose of import from the importer
- Invoice or other documents as the case may be
- Labels, product pictures or other documents, depending on the case
- Specifications of imported raw materials (Features for use as a cosmetic only)
- Power of attorney for the procedures at Food and Drug Checkpoint
- Imported medical devices for sale

- Imported herbal products for sale
